There was much that I found delightful in Debbie's novel, from the main character, Jodi, to the little asides she makes to the reader that were comical and endearing, and often poignant.  I think this is where Debbie shines most as a writer; the way she's able to see the scenery through the eyes and wit and heart of the main character. The story is an interesting twist on the romance genre; the girl traveling in Europe alone, having adventures, meeting strange and interesting foreigners, meeting the one mysterious and irresistible guy. I found it refreshing that she accepts responsibility for her own actions and moves on.
